RELIGIOUS PERSECUTION DISGUISED AS DIVINE AUTHORITY
I actually thought that in this time and age, the term “religious oppression” is already a thing of the past. But the Iglesia Ni Cristo church administration was quick to prove me wrong, religious oppression and persecution still exist and it is actually getting worse.
Do you still remember the times during Bible studies and doctrinal lessons, we would all hear how the Church of Christ was once persecuted and oppressed by the powerful religions, how the many brethren were verbally, emotionally and physically oppressed and persecuted. Many persecuted brethren were driven out of their lands, their homes, their source of livelihood and even inhumanely stripped off of their dignity and self-worth. Religious oppression has always been the devil’s favorite instrument against God’s chosen ones. One of the the distinguishing marks of the devil’s ploy is when God’s own teachings are being twisted and turned in order to promote the devil’s evil works disguised as “the will of God” or “The Divine Authority”.
We’ve heard of historical passages of the great Inquisitions from an era almost long forgotten and how it persecuted hundreds of thousands of people branded as “heretics”. Anyone who dared question or disobeyed the doctrines, are automatically hunted down, interrogated, tortured and lastly, put to death by burning at the stake by the same men who professed the words of God. If that is not the pinnacle of irony, I don’t know what is.
Now… for those who are able to see with an open mind and an open heart… it is truly regretful to realize that the once oppressed, the once persecuted, are now the OPPRESSORS AND PERSECUTORS.What used to be an unblemished and well respected church, the Iglesia Ni Cristo, is undoubtly now at the epicenter of controversies and scandals not only here in the Philippines but all over the world. The irregularities and abuses are now so rampant that it is harder and harder for the church administration to keep everyone silent. It may have been covered up for sometime but not for all time. Nothing can be kept a secret forever. Admittedly, the unimaginable controversies involving the church and the church administration was something that is unheard of during the administration of Bro. Felix Manalo and Bro. Eraño Manalo. But now, the whole world was shocked when news broke out that the current church administration has been dipping its hand in a lot of controversies such as corruption, abuse of use of power, land grabbing, kidnapping, illegal detention, coercion, grave threats, theft, malversation of church funds just to name a few. And it gets worse and worse every day. It’s like the holy name of the church has been dragged in the dirt time after time until such a time that it is no longer recognizable as the church we once knew. Ironically, the “blind ones” blame the people who exposed the truth and the cover up instead of the very ones who committed these acts that has caused so much blemish to our beloved church.
And now even news of the alleged multi-million dollar, international money laundering schemes did not escape the long list where the name of the Iglesia Ni Cristo pops out when you do a google search.
“MANILA — The lawyer of Maia Santos-Deguito, the Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. branch manager at the center of a money-laundering scandal, claimed on Sunday, that Bureau of Immigration officials at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport admitted to him that the off-loading of Deguito from her flight to Tokyo had no basis… Topacio and his client Deguito are members of the Iglesia ni Cristo.”

And how does the church administration address such serious allegations to it’s reputation? Not by answering these matters directly, head on and point-blank, they way it used to. The Church Administration has now perfected their formula in addressing any issues raised against them, behold… “THE INC’s A-B-C-D APPROACH”! This is something that is automatically expected from the Church Administration as their Damage Control and Crisis Management band-aid solution. It stands for: A-ll out hate war with anyone who questions anything about the church administration and its actions; B-oycott anything and anyone who dared speak/write ill about INC ; C-haracter assassinations and a lot of Cyber Bullying, and lastly, D-enial, the Church Administration will lie thru its teeth in denying that it has anything to do with any of these.
Gone were the days when you can boldly ask ANY questions from any Minister and he can bravely answer and defend the doctrines and the church. Gone were the days when the visitors and members alike are encouraged to inquire and speak their minds about anything regarding the church. Now, when you seek for answers, you get aggression in return, you are looked down upon with so much hate and contempt, yet nobody can even give a straight logical answer as to why.
All they preach now is absolute (blind) obedience to the church administration. No buts, no ifs, no questions asked. Otherwise… you will receive, what they consider, the death penalty of your faith, EXPULSION.
The new generation (NewGen) of the Iglesia Ni Cristo just brought the church back several hundred years, back to the dark ages, yet many are oblivious to this phenomenon. And the worst part of it, all theese negativity, hatred and aggression that they bear, seems alright to them and they are even proud of it, just to be rightfully called ONE WITH EVM.
This very recent video is one of the many clear proof that the church can no longer explain itself, not the ministers, not the head deacons, not the officers, not even the members. Nobody, even the church administration itself can explain the illogical, irrational and unbiblical teachings it is now promoting within the Church of Christ.
Now, the Church Administration can and WILL expel you, just because they say so. No explanations or justification needed. It’s just that simple now.
Please watch this video and I hope you will be able to feel the anguish of a sister who fell victim to the church administration’s complete disregard to the biblical teachings and true objective of the RIGHTFUL EXPULSION PROCESS. Our sister was expelled because she belonged to the same household as her parents. She was never counselled. Nobody even talked to her about it, heck she didn’t even know the reason why her parents were expelled, much more, why she is even included in the expulsion. And everybody kept on trying to avoid her very basic and very simple question: “WHY DID YOU EXPEL ME?” As if they all turned into stones, no compassion, no reason, no humanity.

What ever happened to the biblical teachings regarding rightful expulsion?
It is so sickening how these men play as demi-gods here on earth, playing with the lives and hope of salvation of the members, the very people that they ought to love, guide, teach and protect. They turned into ruthless and heartless rulers, thinking only of themselves and worldly gains. The day they can no longer explain their evil acts, is the day they will silence anyone who will ask, and unless you haven’t noticed yet, that day already arrived.
So the question is… until when will you be silent…? How long will you let the OPPRESSORS reign with their evil works? When will we finally stand up for what is RIGHT and what is TRUE? How long will you be afraid? Because they can sense your fear and they will always…ALWAYS… use the WRONGFUL EXPULSION just to scare you into complete blinded submission.
Take away the ONLY remaining hold they have on you… FEAR.Do not FEAR for it is one of the devil’s oldest device. Do not fear the UNJUST EXPULSION for God cannot be tricked by man into false and twisted teachings, for it is He and He alone who MADE the commandments for man to follow and it is He and only He, who will judge us all for it. Let the holy spirit be our guide and let God show us the way.
