3rd Confirmed Death! A Good Samaritan towards Bro. Angel Manalo and Sister Lottie Manalo Kidnapped and Murdered!
On April 18, 2017, a well-loved Good Samaritan, known as Felix Villocino disappeared without a trace, after visiting and delivering food to the controversial Camp Bagong Diwa Jail in Bicutan which houses the estranged brother of INC Executive Minister Eduardo V. Manalo, Angel V. Manalo and his companions. Almost three months after his disappearance, leads that confirmed his brutal murder were received until his family members and supporters were able to identify his remains on July 7, 2017 and brought his remains back to his family on July 13, 2017.
Felix was leading the so-called ground INC Defenders (a group of people critical of the current INC leadership and vocal against alleged corruption in the Church) in delivering food, water and supplies to the residents of the highly controversial and disputed property in 36 Tandang Sora Ave. He was described as a selfless individual who gave up being a Mechanical engineer with a lucrative contracting business and career in Davao to help those who are in need. He was allegedly harassed by unknown individuals from the INC who constantly followed him, sent death threats and allegedly told him not to interfere with the issues in Tandang Sora between the Manalo siblings and the INC Council or leadership. On December 25, 2016, after Felix Villocino and his family were expelled from the INC, his property in Davao which he donated for Worship Service use for the INC, was burned to the ground. On March 2017, his truck was struck by a big rock while he was on his way home from helping Angel Manalo in Camp Karingal. He continued his voluntary service to Angel Manalo when he and his companions were transferred to Camp Bagong Diwa in Bicutan.
On April 20, 2017, Thursday at around 8:20 in the morning, a radio report from Bustos Municipality to Bustos Police station in Bustos Bulacan stated that an unidentified male cadaver was discovered on a prone position along By-pass Road in Brgy. Malamig, Bustos, Bulacan. A team was dispatched to conduct an initial investigation which disclosed that the victim was blindfolded with a black scarf, and has suspected gunshot wounds on his eyes and several more on his body. The victim was wearing a gray sweat shirt with brown sleeves, blue jeans and brown slippers- descriptions that matched the outfit Felix Villocino was wearing the last time he was seen. SOCO team lead by Police Chief Inspector Amelia A. Mendoza also processed the crime scene where more pieces evidence of foul play were collected. The remains of the victim was then brought to San Diego Funeral Parlor in Brgy. Bonga Menor, Bustos, Bulacan for further examination to determine the cause of death. His remains remained here until after several weeks and when no one claimed the body, he was buried in an unmarked grave.
On July 5, 2017, the family of Felix Villocino contacted a former driver and friend of Felix Villocino to proceed to the Bustos, Bulacan Police Station to confirm tips to the family that the unidentified remains indeed belong to the head of their household. On July 7, 2017, after an interview with the police and looking at the photos taken of the victim, the driver was able to identify and confirm that it was Felix Villocino, Mechanical Engineer and Contractor, Married with four children. Finally, on July 13, close to three months after his disappearance, Felix Villocino’s remains were brought home to his family in Davao.

Notable facts:
Bulacan is one of the strongholds of the Iglesia Ni Cristo. Bustos Police Station is dominantly controlled by the Iglesia Ni Cristo.
The Police Superintendent of Bustos Police Station, PCSUPT. Gideon Gatdula Bernabe is a member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo.
The Police Investigator handling the case, Police Office 3 Gideon Vera is a member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo.
And eventhough, the body was already discovered and processed by SOCO, there was a complete MEDIA BLACKOUT. One may be tempted to think that the Iglesia Ni Cristo Church Administration may have more hand in this than meets the eye.

Not only did the so called INC Defenders lose a strong and brave ally, a family lost a loving and dependable Husband and a caring and compassionate father. The world seems a gloomier place with the loss of a real-life good Samaritan.
