Isn’t it IRONIC? The Iglesia Ni Cristo Church Administration have been continuously vilifying the Catholic Pope as the Anti-Christ in their Bible Studies and Worship Service lessons. Yet, without even talking about doctrines yet, shouldn’t it be evident from the current Executive Minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo, to be a role model in contrast with the one they brand as the False Preacher?

Sad to say, many brethren from the Iglesia Ni Cristo, wish so hard for Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo to atleast have even but a fraction of the same wisdom, compassion, and humility as Bro. Eraño G. Manalo, Bro. Felix Y. Manalo and those who administered God’s Nation before… but unfortunately, Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo pales in comparison to those who came before him.

The Church of Christ or Iglesia Ni Cristo was highly respected, admired and revered throughout the world during the dynamic stewardship of his father. With the passing of the late Executive Minister, he took the seat of the Church Administration with its doctrinal credibility, financial stability, and unparalleled unity INTACT. But in a span of merely 7 years, Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo justified his whim-based changes in the doctrines, squandered all of the church funds and managed to humiliate the church with billion peso bank loans, something unheard of and unacceptable in previous administrations. He divided our beloved church from the top down to its very basic unit, the Christian family. Yes, Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo, with his unprecedented extreme lack of hands-on dynamic and accountable leadership, destroyed in a few years, what his father and grandfather so diligently built and administered for almost a century. EVM’s administration ushered the dark ages of the church complete with pseudo-victories and the insatiable desire for superficial recognition such as the Guinness World Records. In the eyes of the fanatic members of the church, EVM has reached perfection for the church, yet for the rest of the world and the thinking members of the church, it is simply a well-decorated facade, complete with sparkle and glitter, yet rotting and stinking from within its corrupted gut.

How will this current Executive Minister and his ministers continue to teach its congregants to abhor the Catholic Pope who has shown the world what compassion, humility, simplicity, forgiveness, love, hope, and piety is all about?

How can EVM emulate Jesus Christ when he himself has been a drunkard of greed for power and wealth? Under Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo’s hypocrisy, the church witnessed the ridiculous justification for having the not-so-secret-secret-airbus:

This is exactly why the culture in the Ministry has drastically changed, the ministers have turned from being simple and humble servants to arrogant and extravagant evangelical pseudo-politicians. Nowadays, most INC ministers want to be promoted, not because they want to serve more brethren better but because they want to be served better by more brethren and to be well invested. That’s why these District Ministers are now setting the trend on how it is to be a model District Minister.

These Ministers were once simple, humble and respectable. They upheld honor, integrity and selfless sacrifice in performing their duties to God, to the Church and to the brethren. They were once Ministers who sincerely and genuinely shepherd the flock with love and compassion towards the perfection of our faith. What happened to them you might ask…? Eduardo V. Manalo happened.
