Imagine this… Just another busy day in the Iglesia Ni Cristo U.S. Main Office at 770 Airport Boulevard in Burlingame California. Everyone seems so preoccupied with their last-minute office work to usher in the weekend. From a distance, one can hear the constant ringing of the phone apparently from the Office of Bro. Radel Cortez and messages about an expulsion circular regarding a certain Dentist from Los Angeles, some last minute changes in the Suguan for the Worship Services and everything would have been done for the day.

Nothing really out of the ordinary from the seat of power of the Iglesia Ni Cristo in the West, not until an unidentified man walked passed the red-hued brick facade and thru the glass front doors into the lobby until finally reaching the Security Desk.

On hand, is a stack of paper that he calmly handed to the Security Personnel, a few writings for the log and some signatures and the man was gladly on his way. A deafening silence filled the room followed by a swift closing of the door. Phones started to ring. One by one, the Minister lawyers hurried to enter the room. Hushed murmurs could be faintly heard from outside the room. What exactly are these documents?

To better understand how these all came about, please read the prelude article regarding Chris Brown’s grueling ordeal in the hands of the powerful and highly influential Church Administration of Eduardo V. Manalo.

If you are to read the actual case files, it is self-explanatory even in its legal form. There isn’t really anything much to say about it except the fact that if the INC is accused of causing severe emotional distress to someone, it is not at all surprising. It’s more like, FINALLY! And notice, the irony in this current of many INC plights- Mr. Chris Brown was the first international artist that the Maligaya Development Corporation booked at the ‘PROUDLY INC OWNED” PHILIPPINE ARENA! An artist choice which was questioned by many INC members who thought Chris Brown was not the wholesome type of performer to grace a conservative and an “ever obedient to their Administration” flock. Even I questioned, “WHY?” Then, as fateful as it seemed that he didn’t show up for his 2015 New Year’s Eve performance, everyone was either asking “What happened?” while for some, it was a sigh relief, and we heard statements such as, “God didn’t allow it!” But you see, I said this was ironic (and became unfortunate for them) because God actually allowed these events to unfold according to His will. He allowed this boastful and proud Administration to make the wrong choices and decisions so that they and the world could see the consequences of such choices. Naming the Iglesias ni Cristo itself as the defendant in this highly publicized case is just the beginning of God’s grander plan,  which included Mr. Chris Brown! I am a fan all of a sudden! You have to admit, Chris Brown is famous and successful in his own right. He may have had a long string of legal troubles, not to mention the scandals and publicity nightmares but I believe that Mr. Chris Brown was acting more of a Christian than the INC members and representatives who are now accused of causing him severe emotional distress when they tried to extort a huge amount of money from him, while barring him from leaving his hotel room and the country for several days. These are the same Christian professing individuals who used their influence in the Immigration Bureau to place a hold departure on him and his private jet.  It is now up to the Administration of Eduardo Manalo to provide proof (fabricated or not) that these allegations are false. Will this include denying ownership of their brainchild for entrepreneurship, the widely publicized and “PROUDLY INC-OWNED LARGEST DOOMED ARENA?

Expect a RUSH-CLEAN-UP-JOB for the INC Legal Department to tie all loose ends that will connect the EVM Church Administration to this case. One loose end has certainly been tied with the sudden and unexplained demise of Jose Victor Los Baños Giongco, one of the primary Defendants who is also the Maligaya Development Corporation’s Legal Counsel and the one who initiated the $300,000 extortion on the behest of the INC Leadership. The courts certainly won’t be able to force a dead man to identify the people who gave him the official instruction to extort and illegally detain Mr. Chris Brown. Who else would end up dead and unable to testify, is a morbid question but one that must be asked. Mr. Chris Brown, we are aware that the clumsy punks of the INC got nothin’ compared to the Mafia Syndicate of the United States and other countries but we urge you just the same to take extra precaution. You will certainly be in our prayers!

The EVM Church Administration is certainly confident to overcome this! Why, it has nothing to fear because they can always count on their diligent and extremely capable lawyers in the likes of Restituto Lazaro shown here in the picture (extreme left) along with the widely-known corrupt INC General Auditor, Glicerio “Jun” B. Santos Jr. and the Korean fugitive Ja Hoon Ku who is wanted in his country for embezzling $200,000.00. Take note that the same pattern of influence is used to prevent Korea from extraditing its own criminal! He ended up in the “custody” of the INC. You can imagine exactly the kind of company the big honchos of the church keep. Lazaro has been all over the place in the US instilling fear among suspected defenders about their plans to sue the ministers for allegedly using INC- owned materials (unfounded) in group prayers and meetings.

Here’s another one, the hot-head Minister-Lawyer Sonny Santiago shown here in a video recording showcasing his violent outburst and complete disregard of the law by attacking an innocent Defender expressing her freedom to hold a peaceful vigil. His experience in this kind of bullying (allowed only in the Philippines) will not take him far in US courts when it comes to litigation which he has absolutely zero experience.

But let us not forget the Minister-Lawyer who tirelessly go around the world to defend the EVM Church Administration, if only he could win atleast one of these cases, then his efforts would probably mean something.

 

 

Whether he had a hand in the reinstatement of the family who owned this Restaurant is not important but I’m sure he tried to take credit for it and is as proud as he looks in this infamous pose.

In a few hours, the EVM Church will be having their Thanksgiving Worship Service courtesy of the Pay-Per-View Playback of a recorded/streamed video of Eduardo V. Manalo. His minion ministers are surely thankful that he has no knowledge about this Chris Brown lawsuit…yet.

We, however, certainly have a lot to thank God for. Allowing the light of TRUTH to shine so brightly worldwide that it exposes the decaying matter lurking from within the now corrupt church under Eduardo V. Manalo is one of them. We don’t even have to lift a finger from this day on because clearly, God’s hand is at work. More and more Brethren who used to be blinded from the truth are now being enlightened and having the courage to stand up for what is right, is another. Let us all accept the fact that many are called to see the light and are expected to do the right thing in the sight of God, BUT ONLY A FEW ARE CHOSEN TO REMAIN FAITHFUL TO GOD AND OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.

No matter how much they want to hide the truth, no matter how much they try to weave lies to make the Brethren believe them, the truth will always come out and we can only pray that it is only a matter of time for those who are still doubtful and still naively believe, that Eduardo V. Manalo and his Sanggunian Ministers are still guided by God, to also finally see the truth.

As for the rest of us, we will continue to follow God’s commandments written in the Bible in Ephesians 5:11 (Revised Standard Version) 

“Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.”
